Community Reinvestment Program
Supporting healthcare providers
and nonprofit entities.
Our Mission, Our Community
To help us fulfill our mission to make health care easier, so life can be better, Banner – University Family Care (B – UFC) created the Community Reinvestment Program. The program provides philanthropic support to community-based organizations to improve access to health services and to enhance public health.
Our Community Reinvestment Program seeks to support healthcare providers and nonprofit entities that have developed, or seek to develop, innovative practices related to healthcare service delivery, with particular emphasis on whole-person integrated healthcare and social determinants of health.
B – UFC is currently seeking proposals related to Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). SDOH are the living conditions that affect a person’s ability to be healthy. Examples of SDOH include access to healthcare, employment, education, housing, transportation, and food. B – UFC recognizes that SDOH have a major impact on people’s health, well-being, and quality of life, which is why our community reinvestment funding program is prioritizing applications that address SDOH in our communities.
Note: Priority given to applicants that serve Banner members and AHCCCS populations.
